Delivered as promised. Great quality I was looking at the ASP but didn't want to spend that much on something I hope to never use. So I bought the S&W 26" baton and I am glad I did. Recommend it.
Item received as described, quick ship. You have to work it a bit at first to get in in and out but it will get easier with use. Well made and functions well. Nice grip on handle.
This Baton is very well made and will not let you down if you need to deploy it in a fast situation you may find yourself in when calling 911 is not an option and a firearm is out of the question (firearm cannot be beat) but this will give you protection when used correctly so you may not become a victim.
Baton is not to heavy which makes it easy to wield. I feel like the majority of the inches are with in the handle of the baton. Other than that highly recommend purchasing one. Metal is very strong, the grip on the handle makes it feel a lot more secure in your hand. Just remember to put some elbow grease in when your closing it.
The Baton is heavy duty and works per the instructions. It expands smoothly and the grip is of good quality. It will perform in self defense and emergency situations. It does not collapse easy as intended for the purpose of combat situations. You don’t want it to collapse in the middle of the conflict. To collapse the baton per the instructions you need a hard flat surface and hit the tip against the ground. It does not collapse well on carpet or surfaces that have some give. It is great and complied with its instructions. I have not tried the window breaker yet, but it is heavy duty and will due the job. It will also serve as a self defense tip.
