This sap features a looped handle that is riveted at its end to the middle of the sap to help you keep a grip on your sap no matter the conditions. This model measures in at 11" long and weighs 12 oz. This is a larger sap that can dish out quite a wallop with a flick of the wrist thanks to the spring steel in the handle, but it is a little thinner that the 4 ply version. This Boston Leather sap is constructed with two layers of durable, heavy gauge leather that encase a molded lead weight. All Boston Leather saps are made in the USA.

2 ply is better

2 ply has more flex and less padding on the end more effective
