Manufactured in Smith & Wesson owned Taylor Brands factory out of 4130 high strength steel tubing, these batons can handle the pressures of daily use. The Smith & Wesson collapsible 21" baton weighs 16oz and is just 8.5 inches long in the closed position. Paired with a Smith & Wesson nylon sheath, this Baton is ready for your duty belt straight from the package. The included baton holder is designed to fit 2.25" police duty belts.

Such an affordable and quality baton.

This is my first baton, so i can't compare to other brands. I purchased 2 and gave the 2nd one to my son who was an MP in the Marines. So, he was impressed with the Smith & Wesson baton having had experience with the Asp baton in the Marine Corp. He said that it is made well and being a brand-new baton, and with use and time, it should be easier to close. I love it. The shipping and packaging was impeccable. Thanks so much. I definitely will be looking to purchase another for my wife and other family members for self defense.

21" baton

It was pretty much as expected. Most important, easy to deploy. So far, a little tricky to close but this is less an issue for me.

The baton works great It deploys fast it closes with no problems.
