I bought the 26" baton and for my height that size is perfect. The baton feels great in the hand with a stable grip. I haven't needed to use the baton yet but it looks solid and is easy to extend.
I previously had another baton that was not nearly as good. He often had trouble fully retracting. This smith & wesson unit is smooth and strong. The belt carrier is also well made and appears very strong and sturdy.
