Glass Breaker End Cap for Smith & Wesson Batons

These end caps are awesome! Get the "point"? All joking aside, buy this for your S&W baton. My staff and I clamped some auto glass to a wooden frame, and tested the impact indices. The glass shattered, every time, with minimal force. The rest cleared out with the deployed baton. This is a well manufactured product, easy to install. You won't be disappointed.

I just received this end cap glass breaker. I have no clue how well it will work breaking glass because I'm not going to test it out on any of my vehicles. One reason I purchased it is because it can also be used as an additional self defense tool. I have no doubt it would hurt if being struck by it.

Exactly as advertised it is perfect

I like the endcap, but, the retention spring is very weak, I've tweaked the spring as much as I can and it takes zero effort to extend the baton due to the retention spring not holding. Other than that, the finish is nice, and it screws onto the baton nicely. It's my opinion, that you should not be able to extend the baton by grabbing it with your fingers when "Locked" in place. I'm going back to the original cap, due to the baton extending when taken out of the holder.
