The Boston Leather Two-Ply Junior Sap is a variety of impact weapon that measures 8 1/4" long and weighing 9.5 ounces making it larger and heavier than the equivalent ply Midget Sap. This Boston leather sap is constructed of two layers of durable, heavy gauge leather that encase a molded lead weight on the end. With the spring steel shank in the handle, a snap of the wrist is all it takes to apply a stopping force with this self-defense tool. Boston Leather saps are made in the USA.
Been carrying the Boston Junior 2ply Sap in my back pocket for about a year when one night, some unhinged crack-head started yelling at me for no apparent reason. I tried to ignore him and walk away until he threatened to F-up my truck! Well, I spun around while grabbing my li'l friend and confronted him. When he saw that I was prepared to fully engage he backed off.
I'm over sixty, but in fairly good shape for the most part. However, I've been recovering from some injuries so was definitely not in 'fighting-shape' at this time. Especially against someone half my age hopped-up with violent intent!
I firmly believe having the sap in hand gave me the added confidence to take on this f-tard! As it turned out, my willingness to engage prevented what could otherwise have been a nasty altercation and/or a damaged truck!
Needless to say, I purchased another as back-up that I keep in the glove box just in case!

It’s a solid piece of equipment and perfect for protecting yourself. It may not kill your attacker but it will knock the stupids right out of them.
