The Boston Leather Two-Ply Midget Sap is an impact weapon measuring out to 6 3/4" long and weighing 9 1/2 ounces making it our smallest and lightest model sap. With a snap of the wrist this sap can deliver a stopping force with minimal effort due to the spring steel shank built into the handle. This Boston leather sap is constructed from two layers of durable, heavy gauge leather that encase molded lead weight. All Boston Leather saps are made in the USA.
Top quality. The weight is perfect. This is the perfect thing to protect yourself from bad guys. I used to carry a pocket knife and realized that’s probably not the smartest thing ever to carry. A whack in the thigh or the ribs or the arm and you are free to get the hell away. I haven’t had to use it yet, but I will not hesitate. Great way to de-escalate a situation. Hey I’m just reaching for my wallet. Nope it’s a chunk of Surprise!
I ordered this to protect myself while out & about. The SAP arrived quickly and was packed well. It is a beautiful, sharp-looking leather item. Made very well. Feels good in my hand. Easy to carry in pocket or purse/bag. A great item!
This is a great back pocket tool to have in close quarters & hardly noticeable in the same pocket as your wallet. I definitely recommend it as I’ve carried some form or another since the mid 60s & this one is a perfect size and weight
