Tactical Mic Klip

The Tactical Mic Klip is the definition of “necessity being the mother of invention”. The Tactical Mic Klip was invented after an incident that had occurred on a call in my beat. My partner and I were chasing a subject with a knife. I tackled the subject to the ground and my portable microphone became lodged between the subject and I. I had no way to radio in our position. I knew something had to be done to keep the police mic, tight to the officer’s uniform. It was over the course of several months, the TMK was born.
