The Monadnock Duty Kit includes a 21” Friction Lock Monadnock Baton & a 360° swivel locking baton holder. This Monadnock baton features a foam grip and a tactical black chrome finish. Monadnock batons are constructed of hardened steel with black chrome plating to ensure durability. The baton holder included in this kit is constructed of polycarbonate & clips onto your belt. Greetings I received the baton Monadnock 21. I can tell you that it came quickly through the mail. I expected that it would have the lock system but its back is smooth. In addition it came with a numbering that I did not request. But anyway thank you. Have a great day.
This baton is a friction locking baton, the Autolock is the model with the push-button closing system. The number engraved on the end cap is the manufacturer serial number.

Too hard to close.not happy.wish I would of gotten to automatic one that closes easy.if you strike it out hard .you gota smash it hard on ground to get it to close.
This would be an excellent choice for a uniformed officer. But it clanks way too much for regular citizen concealed carry. All of my friends would immediately know that something dangerous was hidden under my shirt.
