Smith & Wesson 24" Aluminum Baton & Holder:
The Smith & Wesson S.W.A.T. lightweight baton is as effective as it is light. Lightweight construction makes deployment faster without sacrificing strength. High strength steel and aluminum construction ensures this baton is sturdy in the most demanding situations. The rounded steel baton tip is designed to apply pressure, but not break the skin of any attacker. Batons are an effective defense tool. The 24” Smith & Wesson S.W.A.T. baton is just 8” in the collapsed position and weighs only 9oz. This Smith & Wesson baton utilizes the friction lock mechanism, to close the baton simply hit the tip on a hard surface in a straight downward motion. This baton has a foam grip and includes a nylon Smith & Wesson baton holder. The included baton holder is designed to fit 2.25" police duty belts.
Light weight but very effective, great quality, very satisfied, bought them for my wife and two daughters to help protect them self’s
Opens smoothly with nice handle. It takes awhile to get used to collapsing it once done with it but would buy again
I have tried a few batons out to find the best one, and by far this is the best one as of now. The sheath is Of good quality and made for sturdy attachment to a belt. Good buy.
Great lightweight & strong design. Opens up with quick flick of the wrist with no issues at all. I have it ready every late night when I get off the train. Things have gotten a lil outta hand in NYC.
I used the baton on a pitbull that was attacking my 2 dogs. In the first week I got the baton I walked the dogs with my wife. A pit bull broke it's rope and attacked our much smaller dogs. I deployed the baton as the dog approached and whacked it once before it got to the dogs, The baton flew out of my hand on the second swing. I retrieved it and whacked the pit bull two more times. The baton slowed the attack but did not stop it. I need one with a wrist strap. I don't know if I hurt the dog as the owner got ahold of his dog after the third hit. I will carry my pistol from now on.
