This Smith & Wesson 24" expandable baton with rubber grip & nylon holder offers strength and protection at an affordable cost. Manufactured in Smith & Wesson owned Taylor Brands factory out of 4130 high strength steel tubing. These Smith & Wesson batons can handle the pressures of daily use. The Smith & Wesson collapsible 24" baton weighs 16oz and is just 9.3 inches long in the closed position. Paired with a Smith & Wesson nylon sheath, this Baton is ready for your duty belt straight from the package. The included baton holder is designed to fit 2.25" police duty belts.

Sturdy

This is good and sturdy and sure to do damage if needed. Only thing that sucks is the need for concrete or a very hard surface to retract it. Luckily a good hit with a hammer will do the trick.

Nice!

I am getting older and it will help against younger opponents. This is another way to defend yourself. Different situations require different methods. This is a great to put in a vehicle. I added the glass breaker. I mounted it on the back of my passenger seat. You just never know when you are going to need it.
